El proyecto 632AF<\/em> propone una reflexi\u00f3n sobre la cesi\u00f3n del cuerpo y la identidad al diagn\u00f3stico y la medicaci\u00f3n. La obra adopta una postura cr\u00edtica frente a ciertos aspectos de la era del diagn\u00f3stico en la que vivimos, invitando al p\u00fablico a cuestionar las consecuencias de la constante y, en muchos casos, innecesaria medicalizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Su t\u00edtulo remite a la novela Un Mundo Feliz<\/em> de Aldous Huxley, en la que la sociedad est\u00e1 regida por un sistema de control y subordinaci\u00f3n al poder. 632AF<\/em> es el a\u00f1o en el que transcurre la historia. Las siglas AF<\/em> (After Ford<\/em>) reemplazan la tradicional denominaci\u00f3n AD<\/em> (Anno Domini<\/em>), sustituyendo la figura de Cristo por Henry Ford, el creador de la primera cadena de producci\u00f3n dentro del modelo capitalista. En este universo, la novela se sit\u00faa 632 a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de la aparici\u00f3n del primer Ford T, lo que en nuestro calendario corresponder\u00eda al a\u00f1o 2540.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La instalaci\u00f3n consiste en un montaje f\u00edsico aparentemente sencillo, pero basado en un complejo software de procesamiento de im\u00e1genes mediante redes neuronales. Una c\u00e1mara enfocar\u00e1 al espectador, proyectando su reflejo en pantalla. A trav\u00e9s de t\u00e9cnicas de inteligencia artificial y reconocimiento facial, la imagen ser\u00e1 alterada, evidenciando el potencial de control que poseen quienes ostentan el poder del diagn\u00f3stico y la prescripci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica. La intenci\u00f3n es transmitir c\u00f3mo este poder, cuando est\u00e1 guiado por intereses econ\u00f3micos, puede influir de manera sutil sobre el libre albedr\u00edo, induci\u00e9ndonos\u2014mediante recetas, sugerencias y propaganda\u2014a comportamientos condicionados que, en \u00faltima instancia, pueden desembocar en una dependencia a los medicamentos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project 632AF<\/em> explores the surrender of the body and identity to diagnosis and medication. This artistic project critically examines aspects of the diagnostic era we inhabit, urging the audience to reflect on the implications of constant\u2014and often unnecessary\u2014medicalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its title references Aldous Huxley\u2019s novel Brave New World<\/em>, in which society is governed by a system of control and submission to power. 632AF<\/em> marks the year in which the novel takes place. The initials AF<\/em> (After Ford<\/em>) replace the traditional AD<\/em> (Anno Domini<\/em>), substituting the figure of Christ with Henry Ford, the pioneer of the first capitalist assembly line. Within this timeline, the novel is set 632 years after the launch of the first Ford Model T, which in real-world terms corresponds to the year 2540.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The installation consists of a seemingly simple physical setup that operates through advanced image-processing software powered by neural networks. A camera will capture the viewer’s reflection and project it onto a screen. Using artificial intelligence and facial recognition techniques, the image will be modified, highlighting the potential control wielded by those who dictate medical diagnoses and prescriptions. My aim is to reveal how this power, when driven by economic incentives, subtly restricts free will\u2014guiding us through prescriptions, suggestions, and propaganda into conditioned behaviors that may ultimately lead to medication dependency.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
